At present, the Internet of vehicles and automatic driving have become hot topics one after another. As the front-end antenna of the automobile links everything, there is a trend of integration, mainly integrating honeycomb, GNSS, am / FM, c-v2x, WiFi, etc. the main forms are shark fin and cylindrical. Shark fin is mainly used in private cars, and cylindrical antenna is mainly used in some driverless vehicles.

Due to the special working environment and coexistence of multiple communication systems, the working temperature and anti-interference capability of the antenna module are required to be high. GNSS positioning, as an important link of intelligent driving and automatic driving, naturally bears the brunt.

GNSS antenna module is used to receive satellite signals for navigation terminal positioning. GNSS satellite signals are divided into four systems: BDS, GPS, GLONASS and Galileo. The frequency is between 1.1GHz and 1.6gh. The signals are circularly polarized. The signal strength is about - 166dbm, which is a relatively weak signal.

The composition of the vehicle GNSS positioning antenna

These characteristics decide to prepare a special antenna for the reception of GPS signals. Most GNSS antennas are right-handed polarized ceramic media, among which the active high-precision GNSS antenna supports multi-system and multi-frequency reception, and its components are ceramic antenna, low-noise signal module, cable and connector. Ceramic antenna is also called passive antenna, which is the core technology of GPS antenna. The signal receiving ability of a GPS antenna depends largely on the composition of its ceramic part. The GNSS ceramic antenna for vehicle high-precision positioning is designed with multiple feed points to ensure the coincidence of the phase center and geometric center of the antenna and minimize the influence of the antenna on the measurement error.

The low noise signal module, also known as LNA, is a part that amplifies and filters signals. The selection of components is also very important. A lower noise figure means better sensitivity of the system. Sufficient gain ensures that the signal can be transmitted for a longer distance and a wider working range, which means more reliable stability.

LNA and cbg9092 are added in front of the bridge to avoid the noise figure rise caused by the insertion loss of the bridge. LNA is added after the bridge to improve the gain of the system. Therefore, the GNSS active antenna with LNA such as cbg9092 is added to the vehicle integrated antenna, which can well meet the relevant requirements of the vehicle.
